When someone mentions the term 'weight issue' many people think of weight loss. Most of society is aware of people and especially those who are obese who want to loose weight.
Did you know that drinking water can actually help you lose weight? Do you know how much weight you can lose by drinking water? Maybe that is all you need to reach your desired weight loss goal.
You can be a stay at home mom and find alternative ways to lose weight. A mom is more than changing diapers cleaning the house and taking care of her man. However these are great alternative ways to lose weight.
Have you tried all the fad diets appearing on the internet and not been successful? Maybe even lost a little weight with some exercise only to have it reappear? Worry not because it happens due to a perfectly scientific reason and I've written this article to explain the whys and how's of it along with ways to fight it.
The desire to lose weight is one of the most universal and emotional issues in the entire World today with an estimated 750 million people categorized as being over weight or obese with many millions of them faced with the dilemma - 'how many calories you should eat to lose weight.' One of the quickest and most natural ways to lose weight is to take control of your mind and to eliminate all your old perceptions and replace them with new ideas.
So many magazine covers are littered with articles about losing weight slowing the aging process and maintaining good health. With all of the special diets like Atkins or South Beach and the diet pills with the unbelievable claims how does anyone find the real secret to staying healthy losing unwanted pounds and turning back the clock on wrinkles and crow's feet?

How can I tell the calorie/fat content of food if I'm at school?
Whats the lowest calorie cheese I can get? I am at school so I can't really check labels of anything. Also what's a good salad dressing?? I know to stay away from creamy dressings but I've heard that fat free ones are all sugar? What's a good dressing to use?
Yea, it's tough. You might want to start packing your lunch at home and taking it with you. Here are some healthier suggestions:
1)Pack a little container of salad dressing and eat with raw veggies such as carrot and celery sticks, broccoli and cauliflower pieces, etc.
2)Instead of a cookie or other sweet item, pack a mixture of dried fruit, nuts, and coconut.
3)Add a few cubes of cheese of even string cheese for extra calcium.
4)Pack apples and pears that have been cored and sectioned to make eating easier.
5)Make extra salad at dinner and pack a small portion to eat with half a sandwich.
6)Take a small container of 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter to smear on an apple or pear.
7)Take a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and eat with veggies or whole-wheat crackers.
8)Make a sandwich with whole wheat tortilla instead of bread. Fill it with veggies and some lean turkey.
9Hot soup in a thermos.
10)Hard-boiled eggs
11)Yogurt with a little fruit and some granola or Kashi on top.
If you must buy lunch at school, then it's going to be more difficult. All cheese is approx. the same. Feta and Parmesan are thought of as being lower, but that's really just because a little goes a long way, so you don't need to use much. As for salad dressing, the creamy ones are just as bad as the fat-free ones, but you're essentially right. If something is fat-free, it tends to be high in sugar. If it's sugar-free, it tends to be high in fat. They have to get their flavor from something, right? You're still better off worrying about total caloric intake for the day (if weight loss is your goal), so fat-free or low-fat is the way to go.
I'm completely convinced that we can pretty much eat what we want in small amounts, so if all else fails, make the best choices that you can but don't eat much of it. Good luck!
