Kick Punching
Ever launched a huge kick at a punching bag only to have you other leg give out under the momentum?
And you find yourself sitting on your backside with with a red face and the class looking on ????
Very very funny. It's a mistake in the technique, but I'm sure that most of us have done it at some stage.
I accidentally did something similar on a slim punching bag. I lauched a roundhouse kick but it slid across the bag, rather than hitting it good.
My standing leg slipped out from under me and I ended up on my side--pretty embarrassing considering it was on the second floor of the dojo and falling made a big *boooom!* lol
Oh well, I'd rather be embarrassed for a few seconds than have a broken arm, leg or hip from falling
